Use this site to find CHEAP walk-in showers...

There are three main types of showers trays which may be suitable if you are disabled or have limited mobility:
1. Stepped Access Trays
2. Ramped Access Trays
3. Level Access Trays
Stepped Access Tray
These are the most common, and require a small step up into the tray. Due to this step they may not be suitable for you if you are disabled or elderly. These showers can be fitted with a seat and rails to assist the user once inside.

Ramped Access Trays
As with a traditional tray they are raise above floor level, with a raised ramp to enable you walk or to push your wheelchair into the shower. There are factors you must consider before installing such a tray:
• Ensure there is sufficient room inside the shower to fit a mobile chair.
• Ensure there is sufficient room to run up to the ramp, and that the ramp is not to step.

Level Access Trays
Level access showers have a step of less than 1cm, and are the easy for you to enter and exit whether in a wheelchair or walking. Ensure that the tray is large enough to fit your chair.
